Jelly Roll had the honor of singing “Mama I’m Coming Home” as Ozzy was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame this weekend. Let’s just say…it was less than ideal.
It should be noted that I’m a fan of Jelly Roll. It should also be noted that performances like this can be tough. They often bring a ton of pressure as they are televised live and are prone to technical issues. My guess is that monitors weren’t working on this one.
Here’s my question. Why would the Rock Hall post this? Why? You know it wasn’t great. I don’t think it was fair to Jelly Roll or Ozzy! But, let’s face it. The Rock Hall has never been known for it’s judgment.
