Korean Air will stop serving inflight noodles in economy class after August 15 due to increasing risks of burns from hot water due to turbulence. The task of delivering instant noodles has become too dangerous for flight attendants who have to handle hot cups in tight quarters. However, business and first-class passengers will still have access to their noodle options. In response to the growing turbulence, the airline will introduce a self-serve snack bar with safer choices such as sandwiches, corn dogs, and pizza.
