Don’t lie. When you saw that a sequel to “Twister” called “Twisters” was coming out, you thought the same thing I did. HOT GARBAGE! Well apparently not.

According to Rotten Tomatoes, fans are loving it. It’s receiving a 92% rating in audience score right now. Even the critics aren’t tearing it to shreds with a 77% critic score. Most are saying it’s just mindless good fun. Perhaps everyone had the same thought I did. Maybe the bar was set so low that it paid off. Or…maybe it’s actually good.

Right now we need more mindless movies. We need more mindless…anything. This looks like a good way to escape the stress of everyday life for a couple of hours. It also looks like a good way to escape the heat if your A/C is on the fritz.
