As we gear up for planting season, here’s something to think about…Your plants are making sounds, humans just can’t hear them.

Researchers have discovered that plants do emit audible sounds, especially when stressed, but only at frequencies too high for us to hear.

I wonder if cannabis plants laugh like Seth Rogan when they’re happy or if tobacco plants sound like Bob Dylan relaxing in a comfy chair. We may never know.

This study just adds another layer of guilt for all the plant casualties I’ve unintentionally caused. Are they silently screaming for help in their ultrasonic language? Probably.
