I’m sure you’ve heard of the tragedy near Humboldt this weekend. A young girl and two men were killed after falling through thin ice. The men were rushing out to save children on the ice. An absolute heroic act. It’s a heartbreaking story.

One of those heroic men was Chris. A friend of mine in high school. A genuinely good guy. One of the funniest men I ever got to know. He will always be remembered for this final selfless act.
